The PIXMA G series printers come with many innovations that make photo and document printing easy and convenient. The integrated high yield refillable ink tanks, wireless printing, cloud connectivity, low cost and high quality output are some salient features that the printers assure.

Canon’s PIXMA G series features integrates refillable ink tanks which is capable to yield as high as 6,000 pages mono prints and 7,000 pages color prints. The printers have individual ink tanks for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. The replacement ink bottles are priced at only Rs 499 per unit.

The Canon PIXMA G Series printers use Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) to create high-density print heads with microscopic ink droplet sizes. FINE enables the printers to achieve high resolution images.

Another thing that sets the Canon G series printers apart from Epson’s models is that their ink tanks are integrated within the printer body, thus reducing the space needed to accommodate the printer. And with a see-through design, users can easily monitor their ink levels on the front panel without needing to open up the printer.

Otherwise, the G series printers feature Canon’s hybrid ink system, which combines both pigment black ink and dye color inks. The versatile print engine generates 4R borderless photos in just 60 seconds, and is also capable of printing A4-size photos. Between the three models, the G1000 is a single-function printer; the G2000 adds scan and copy functions; and the G3000 having additional wireless connectivity and mobile and cloud printing features. For instance, the G3000 works with the new Canon Print Inkjet/Selphy app (available on iOS and Android, and which replaces the old Pixma Printing Solutions), allowing users to print, scan, and access files on the printer via their mobile device. Users can also share their files to cloud-based applications such as Facebook, Dropbox, and Google Drive via the Pixma Cloud Link app.

Usability

The Printers have integrated ink tanks which significantly reduce the width of the printer and provide high visibility of ink to consumers. The ink bottles are designed to minimize potential spills and leaks. The superior quality Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) used in PIXMA G series ensures a reliable and trouble free high volume printing.
