Edimax to start Indian operation |

 Hunter Chen Taiwan based networking companies, Edimax Technologies announced that it would enter the Indian market in October. The company has appointed Jupiter International Ltd and Neoteric Informatique as their national distributors.
Edimax also revealed that a 'repair' policy would be made available for customers in six Indian cities, wherein a faulty product will be repaired. In 15 smaller cities the company has announced a 'swap' option wherein an unsatisfied customer would be allowed to swap a product which he has bought for a new one.
Hunter Chen, Sales Director, OBM Sales Division, Edimax Taiwan, said, "Initially, we would concentrate on wireless products except managed switches. For first three years we wanted to focus on brand-building. Our main focus is to make a strong brand in the Indian market due to huge potential. We wanted to concentrate our product locally. We are committed to bringing the advantages of the latest networking technologies to the PC user by offering the best price-performance products and solutions. Our initial emphasis is on service part of the product."
Edimax also planning to do training program and road shows in different cities to creating brand awareness. Edimax is also giving three years warranty on the products.
