This office will expand Nexans ability to offer local advice, consultation and support to its fast growing base of business partners and their customers in this dynamic country.
 
Apart from Nexans setting up a office  in Mumbai, it operates in Gujarat and Delhi. Nexans has a structured cabling team in Mumbai and Bangalore and they are also planning to hire more people in Delhi and Gujarat.
 
“Nexans is significantly investing in strategic expansion across high potential tier 1 cities. It will be the engine of our growth and will help us optimally address the requirements of consumers in such markets. 2012 will be focused towards products which include training customer representative on Nexans products and installation, create 30 authorized System Integrators in this year which as  of is 8 on the list and target on BFSI, defense and data centre vertical”, said Chintak Dalal, Country Sales Manager-LAN Systems
 
The company would open a Proof of Concept lab in Mumbai soon to demonstrate its solution capability to partners and customers. With this initiative they will also invite the customers to showcase complete structured cabling and give them a feel of the product line.
 
“We view Mumbai market as a core element of our growth strategy for the coming years and we have a long term investment plan to support it”, added Chintak Dalal.
 
The company is planning to undertake extensive training programs so that the channels are made aware of the new strategies and also the launch of new products. Such programs will offer partners a series of benefits to help them build stronger relationships with the end-users and expand the business.
